all week i was rambling on how i wanted to see rio this weekend, mainly because i’m a sucker for those kinda movies but also to get out of the cold and rain. well the northwest got a big surprise on saturday with temps reaching into the mid to upper 60s. we haven’t had temperatures that high all month. yeah its that depressing around here.
so the boyf and i decided to get out of town and head to snoqualmie falls. we grabbed some iced coffee and hit the road. we hung around the falls for a bit but there wasn’t a whole lot to do. we left george at home cause it said no dog allowed online but when we got there the park’s main sign said dog friendly. wtf. and the trail down to the falls was closed for renovations. guess that means we’ll have to make another trip back.
when we’re on the road our favorite thing to do is check out the local beer, obviously. you can buy snoqualmie brewery’s beer in store but it ALWAYS tastes better on tap. after that we wandered around the town and ate crappy mini mart ice cream. they had a “curiosity shoppe” which was mainly filled with ninja turtle, batman and star wars toys in the original package for like 30 bucks a piece. weird.

the familia usually uses easter as an excuse to get together for dinner. while i still get an easter basket (hey don’t judge! you’re just jealous) this was the first time in a looooooong time we had an easter egg hunt. there were 5 of us “kids” (we’re all in our 20s) and my 16 year old cousin. guess who found all the eggs? guess it pays to be young. :)
i could barely eat my cheerios this morning i ate so much food.
xoxo
