my long time friend nikki and her pal rachel have been remaking bike accessories and bags for some time. this past weekend they opened a scenic drive store front on capitol hill!

Before you start, tie your hair in a bun or ponytail. Fold a large square scarf in half into a triangle. Lay the scarf on your head with the center point of the triangle facing forward and the sides hanging down each of your shoulders. i’m totally in halloween mode! i bought some pumpkin spice candles, hung my halloween decorations and dreaming of making hot cider (spiked of course).
one of my favorite fall treats is roasted acorn squash. its super easy to make and its enough to share with with the boyf (and george too).

i was soooo good to the boyf on monday night. i cleaned the apartment before he got home, bought him a bottle of tanqueray. if that wasn’t enough to make him happy, i cooked clam linguine in a white wine sauce for dinner and roasted acorn squash for dessert. to end the eve we watched dexter.
